Eucalyptus oil is available as an essential oil that is used as a medicine to treat a variety of common diseases and conditions including nasal congestion, asthma, and as a tick repellant. Diluted eucalyptus oil may also be applied to the skin as a remedy for health problems such as arthritis and skin ulcers.

It is a natural antiseptic with antifungal, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties making it highly effective in treating wounds, minor cuts, acne, boils, insect bites, skin infections and more. 1,8 cineole, one of the active ingredients in eucalyptus oil, is known for its anti-bacterial properties.

Alleviate Headache: Diffuse 5 drops of eucalyptus at home or work, inhale the oil directly from the bottle, or apply 2–3 drops topically to your temples and back of neck. 14. Relieve Muscle Pain or Soreness: Apply 2–3 drops of eucalyptus topically to the area of concern.
